Customer service coordinator - entry level

Raleigh, NC: Full-time, Part-Time

Play a critical role in overseeing administrative duties, organizing key accounts, and maintaining Synchro’s high level of customer service.

This role may be a full or part time position depending upon the skillset and needs of the candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide support to sales account managers and operations teams.

  • Organize shipments and ensure the necessary details have been communicated to all parties.

  • Input and process accurate shipment data in our TMS.

  • Schedule appointments with shippers and receivers.

  • Track and trace shipments and communicate updates to the customer.

  • Assist with billing and payment responsibilities as needed.

  • Support claims and document management.

  • Maintain relationships and communication with shippers, receivers and transportation partners to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries.

  • Negotiate rates and capacity with carriers.

  • Conducting regular RFPs and negotiating spot market quotes.

  • Reach and exceed load coverage and gross margin goals.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.

  • Meet dispatch and check call goals.

  • Attention to detail is critical.

What We Need to See:

  • College degree in business, supply chain management, transportation, logistics, or related field preferred, but not required.

  • Driven, self-motivated, and results oriented.

  • Ability to negotiate, communicate effectively and think on your feet.

  • Friendly and comfortable being on the phone most of the day.

sales representative

Raleigh, NC: Full-time, Base Salary + Unlimited Commission

We are currently looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team and be the face of the company!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build your own book of business by learning the client’s needs and becoming their expert. 

  • Hunt new opportunities by calling leads from several different marketing campaigns. 

  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage all lead activity and opportunity creation.  

  • Navigate social media and professional network websites for prospects.  

  • Help to get your customers' freight moved from point A to point B.  

  • Assists in customer requests for quotes (RFQ).  

  • Provides support to carrier team as needed.

What We Need To See:  

  • College Degree in Business, Logistics or related field.

  • If no college degree, 2-3 years relevant sales experience.

  • Willingness and desire to put forth the effort in generating new sales opportunities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • High energy, drive, and a sense of urgency! 

  • Must have basic computer knowledge.

  • Salesforce.com experience a plus.

Carrier Account Manager

Raleigh, NC: Full-time, Base Salary + Commission & Bonus Potential

The Carrier Account Manager position is responsible for developing and expanding relationships between our motor carrier partners and Synchrogistics with the goal of establishing reliable core carriers. We offer opportunities for rapid advancement as we source new customers and grow existing ones.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be at work on time every day.

  • Negotiate rates and capacity with carriers.

  • Conducting regular RFPs and negotiating spot market quotes.

  • Minimum 1-2 years brokerage experience.

  • Driven, self-motivated, and results oriented.
