This position will prospect potential customers and build relationships with converted customers. Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries, solicit shipments on a daily basis, trouble shoot issues as they arise, provide necessary information to team members and customers about status of shipments and to handle and resolve complaints. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Outbound phone calls to solicit freight from customers.

  • Provide quotes to customers using market knowledge and system pricing tools.

  • Supervises coverage of shipments with coverage team.

  • Trains, explains tasks, and assists in the solution of problems.

  • Receives customers' requests by telephone or email, analyzes requests, provides information requested.

  • Resolves customer questions related to shipments, takes orders as needed.

  • Maintains liaison with other carrier representatives for order completion.

  • Inputs shipment order, emails confirmations, price quotations, and similar data to customer, as required.

  • Responds to customers' requests via telephone or email, using personal computer when necessary.

  • Has knowledge of services offered, pricing, delivery and transit times, various telemarketing skills, and similar data, as required.

Sales representative

Raleigh, NC: Full-time, Base Salary + Commission & Bonus Potential

The Carrier Account Manager position is responsible for booking motor carriers to move freight for Synchrogistics' customers. You will develop and expand relationships between our motor carrier partners and Synchrogistics with the goal of establishing reliable core carriers.

Since our freight moves around the clock, our logistics coordinators do too.
